(A Rosy Dream/Trauma or Real Girls Go Pink)

A woman finds herself confused about the requirements for femininity. After getting a call from her grandmother, she stumbles through a world of different notions of femaleness; all of her relatives seem to know what it takes to be a “real woman”. Eventually, a “pink” alter ego starts to haunt the protagonist and she suddenly realises why a rosy dream/trauma always starts with a pink bodysuit in the delivery room...For their performance, Rosidant worked with personal audio interviews. They examine different reality norms and thus create a new, bitter-sweet pink picture that seems as absurd as each individual image of women we might know.

The collective Rosidant was founded in January 2010 by Laura Nöbauer, Susanne Foisner and Angela Rottensteiner. Its members come from different branches of the arts, such as theatre, dance, film and music. Artistic realisations vary from topic to topic; they include films, dance and theatre productions and usually focus on body and performance.
