This inspiring dance                             performance tells a story of                connection and separation,                 of holding on and letting go, of                           rebellion and devotion.

When is the time to break old ties and forge new ones? Do I have to cut the umbilical cord or can I still cling to it? Should I call for freedom or seek maternal care? Two dancers, a mother and her son, explore the ties and connections, entanglements and disentanglements of two generations on stage. Their aesthetically ambitious dance is accompanied by another performer.

Andrea Brugger is a veteran of contemporary dance and has worked with Danstheater AYA, the Hans Hof Ensemble and Boukje Schweigman. Dietrich Pott is a young and upcoming hip hop artist who grew up on the streets and knows their culture. A generational encounter or a clash of styles? The inspiring and provocative performance is supported by performer Leon Tol.
